Heritage Hats, founded in 1983, carries the skill and traditional culture of the Southwest. It is the largest hat store in Arizona with a variety of Hats. Their current website was developed in 2013 but is outdated, non-responsive, and hard and time-consuming to maintain.

About the Brand
Heritage Hats, founded in 1983, carries the skill and traditional culture of the Southwest. It is the largest hat store in Arizona, with a variety of Hats, including Western Felt & Straw Hats, Fedora Felt & Straw Hats, Panamas, Austrailians, popular hats & caps. They also make custom hats. They also have a restoration workshop where they continue cleaning and blocking hats.
Ideal Audience: Full and Part-time Local residents of Arizona - Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Cave Creek Area; Tourists

Research
Before crafting the new brand identity and website, I began by conducting research into three areas: competitors, the target audience, and the current website layout. Researching competitors and the brand's target audience helped me better understand who the brand is for and tailor the new direction to my audience, while identifying ways to stand out and what else has been done. I also spend time examining the current website to see what content I am working with, identify issues in layout, content, and more, and avoid them in the new website.

Wireframes & Website Compositions
After establishing a new brand identity and logo, I began crafting the one-page website by first laying out a wireframe. But while developing the wireframe, I noticed that some content, such as the product sections, did not meet UX/UI standards. So, when working on the website compositions, I made some adjustments to better reflect UX/UI standards.
